Great question and a great article. As a trainer I have been asked this question the most out of all questions in the 20 years of training clients. This article pretty much says exactly what I tell a client or someone that probes my brain on the topic.
However don't be misslead by weight control/loss, fat loss, and body composition change and there seem to be better straegies for each of these different options. It is dicouraging to have a client that is very unfit start an exercise/diet program to add several pounds of muscle while losing several pounds of fat and get on the scale and be very upset that it doesn't register a lower number. Remeber to clarify that point to the cleint that htis scenario is quite possibel especially if strength training is involved in the program. - NITROFORCE
