Welcome to the April, 2008, issue of Personal Trainer Today! If you own a television, you definitely know that it’s an election year! These days, you’ll hear politicians giving negative campaign speeches concerning our already slowed economy that has scared everyone from Wall Street to Main Street into stuffing cash into there respective mattresses! They use the word “recession” time and time again as a poker chip in their destructive bid for the presidency hoping for your “scare-driven” votes because they all claim to have the answers! And, if it quacks like a duck, people eventually believe it’s a duck!
What does any of this have to do with fitness? With the current economic down-turn we have seen, there has been an overwhelming increase in the number of fitness enthusiasts looking to improve upon their financial situations by becoming personal fitness trainers, at least for starters, as a part-time venture. With this mind-set, if you are not already, there has been no smarter time to become a personal fitness trainer than right now! This is not to suggest that your decision to become a personal trainer should be financially motivated, but it is an added plus. Having the inspiration to assist others is what makes good personal trainers great personal trainers. In closing, I hope that you take action soon. I am sure you won’t regret it!
Regards
